What ceramic coating actually does

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds chemically to your vehicle’s paint. Once it cures, it forms a hard, hydrophobic layer on top of your clear coat that — unlike wax — can’t be washed or waxed off.

Here’s what that means in practice:

  • Water and contaminants bead up and roll off instead of sitting on the paint

  • Bird droppings, tree sap, and UV rays cause significantly less damage

  • Swirl marks from washing are much harder to create on a coated surface

  • The paint maintains a deeper gloss and doesn’t oxidize as quickly

  • Washing takes a fraction of the time because dirt doesn’t bond to the surface

Think of it less like a product and more like a permanent upgrade to your paint’s surface.
